Hey! Welcome to Lauren May Photography. I’m Lauren, a UK wedding photographer specialising in natural, emotive wedding photography and lifestyle imagery. I work with couples across the UK who want relaxed, timeless photographs that genuinely reflect their day.

My approach is calm, relaxed, and unobtrusive, helping you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself in front of the camera. Rather than forcing moments, I focus on documenting your day as it naturally unfolds — the real emotions, the quiet in-between moments, and everything that makes your story unique.

Clients often describe working with me as friendly, reassuring, and completely stress-free from our first conversation through to receiving their final gallery. My aim is always to create a relaxed experience where you can enjoy your wedding day while I capture it in an honest, storytelling way.

The Associate experience

If you like my style and finishing look but i'm unavailable to personally be there this could be for you.

That's why I've built a trusted team of associate photographers across the UK, allowing Lauren May Photography to be available for even more wedding dates.

So, if I'm already booked on your date, you don't necessarily have to miss out. You can still book Lauren May Photography, with one of my carefully selected and personally trained associate photographers there to capture your day.

They'll photograph your wedding, capturing all the moments, big and small, while I'll take care of the editing personally. Every image will be hand-edited by me in my signature Lauren May Photography style, so your final gallery will have the same look, feel and attention to detail you'd expect from booking me directly.

Whether I'm personally behind the camera or one of my associates is, you'll still be getting the Lauren May Photography experience.

Lauren was absolutely amazing as our wedding photographer. We cannot recommend her more, especially if you have little ones too! She’s fabulous with the kids, they warmed to her straight away which is so important for getting family shots. We were really nervous for our pre wedding shoot but we really need not have been, Lauren put us at ease and encouraged us to have fun - none of it felt too forced and we were really happy with the photos. On the day, Lauren went above and beyond for us, organising people, nailing our confetti shots, helping me with timings, calming nerves etc. we could not have asked for more. We have had more previews than I ever expected and they are just PERFECT, everything we wanted and more.
